I have known a couple of different people who drove cars with salvage titles. One friend of mine drives a car that they purchased on the cheap then fixed up themselves. Another old friend of mine had her car totaled because of hail damage. She then purchased the car from her insurance company with a salvage title at much less than the settlement check she received. In both instances, the savings were big.
How to Save on Vet Bills Pets are a huge expense, much larger than most people realize. Erika from everythingfinance.com gives us one way to make them more affordable.
Enjoy Walking in the Woods? Here’s How to Find and Sell Deer Antlers– Tim from thepennyhoarder.com has a way of making money I never would have thought of. Who knew those antlers I used to find while camping when I was a boy scout might have been worth something?
How to get upgraded on your next flight– Scott Mackenzie from hackmytrip.com explains what it takes to get out of the coach seats. I have never set in first class, and that is probably a good thing. I’m a bigger guy, so if I knew what I was missing out on, the temptation to spend more for the extra room might be too much.
Happily Biking to Work Each Day– Will from CNAfinance.com tells about how he has been biking to work every day and all the great things it does for him. I would like to do this, but I have always worried about getting my nice clothes all sweaty on the way to work.
