What is really cool is that he drives a plug in electric car, so his car is being powered for free!
10 Things You Should Never Buy at the Dollar Store (and 10 You Should) Paul Michael on wisebread.com has a list of items that will save you money at the dollar store, and items that aren’t as good a deal as it seems. Paul lists batteries as a good deal, but I still think that rechargeable batteries are the best deal you will find.
My Experiment to Find the Cheapest and Fastest Way to get One Book The FruGal from frugalconfessions.com has quite a list of ways to save money on books. My wife read 167 books last year, so I pay attention to every tip I can get on cheap reading material.
