A Fourth of July deal that actually saves you money

A Fourth of July sale you can save instead of spend

The fourth of July is a great time to score a deal.  Most of the things people buy for summer have already been purchased for the year, so stores are starting to get nervous about how they are going to get rid of the rest of the stuff.  Things like swim suits, lawn mowers, patio furniture, and all the other stuff you need for summer is going on clearance, so if you still need any of those things you should be able to get a pretty good deal at a 4th of July Sale.

As much as I love a good deal, Capitalone360.com has a 4th of July sale that will help you save money instead of spend it.  Here is what they are offering:

Capital One 360 Checking Account– Get a $100 bonus when you open a checking account from Capital One 360 by July 3, 2014.  This account has no monthly fees, no minimum balances, free online banking, free bill pay, free mobile banking, and free remote deposit capture.

Capital One 360 Savings Account– Get a $76 bonus when you open a savings account from Capital One 360 byJuly 3, 2014. Just like the checking account there are no fees and no minimum balances.  Add the two accounts together and that is $176 in bonuses.  Not bad.

Thanks for sharing, Andy! I’m going to hit up a local bike shop that’s having a sale this weekend and try to score a new (to me) ride!

Great post Andy! Thank you for the tips. I might pick up lawn mowers this week, hope I could produce a big bargain.

Just how many lawn mowers do you plan on picking up?
